All session, UPEA has worked closely with legislative leadership on public employee compensation. On Friday, March 3rd the Executive Appropriations Committee approved budget changes to HB08 – State Agency and Higher Education Compensation Appropriations to state employee compensation. The changes include a 2% pay increase, hot spot funding, and funding for the Department of Corrections career ladder. The bill will go through the House and Senate for final passage.
