What is an Ambassador?
The UPEA Ambassador Program provides the training and support you need to start a conversation with your legislator about issues that affect public employees.
UPEA Ambassadors are members who contact their legislators about public employee issues. Ambassadors are asked to share their background and advocate for the public employee issues that UPEA has identified as priorities for the 2024 legislative session. Ambassadors are provided with information and training on how to effectively contact and communicate with their legislators. Members are encouraged to share their experience as a public employee and to create an ongoing relationship.
